Serenata Strings will be performing with the Arts District Chorale on March 8, 2024 to celebrate contemporary female choral composers.

AT&T Performing Arts Center hired Serenata Strings/Hits On Ten on Nov. 19, 2022 to perform for its donors, patrons, and VIPS at the ATTPAC Gala Event. AT&T Performing Arts Center has hired Serenata Strings/Hits On Ten on Nov. 18, 2023 for ATTPAC Bravo Gala Event.

We offer solo violin with pre-recorded backing tracks and without.
On Feb. 17, 2024, our electric strings made their debut with electric violin and electric cello.  We offer electric string trio as well as electric string quartet.

The University of North Texas contracted Serenata Strings to perform for their March 5 Night at the Ball event.

I Do! (2022, 2023 editions) received its certificate of registration into the Library of Congress! Karen Lim-Smith completed her book project containing a compilation of 200 wedding programs documenting the shifts in musical choices from 2009 – 2024 while providing a short narrative on each of our bride’s personal selections with at least 75% of the book featuring programs from 2020 – 2024.  Her self-published book I Do! with Kindle Direct Publishing/Amazon and Barnes & Noble was released on Christmas Eve 2022 and 2023. Planning to publish I Do! eBook series every year on Amazon, Smashwords, and Barnes & Noble Press, she is working on I Do! eBook 2024 edition with newer music releases and up-to-date wedding programs.


In 2021, her performance of “Wayang” was featured on Wieslaw Rentowski: Solo & Chamber Music, released by Navona Records in August 2021. 

AT&T Performing Arts Center lined up Serenata Strings/Hits On Ten from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on July 28, 2022 for PNC Bank-Patio Sessions  at Sammon Parks – Dallas Arts District outside Winspear Opera for non-stop 2-hour live music with public fun, food, beverages, lawn/garden games and family-friendly activities for everyone.

Dallas Arboretum also signed Serenata Strings to perform April 7, 2022 for the dedication ceremony of a garden.

Western Governors University (WGU) hired Serenata Strings on Feb. 19, 2022 to perform for 1200 students graduating with their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at The Ford Center At The Star in Frisco. Attending will be 8,000 family members, friends and guests. We have been contracted to provide music for subsequent graduation ceremonies for WGU in Texas.

Serenata Strings’ Jewish samples will be featured Dec. 4, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022 for the upcoming Broadway show “Becoming Dr. Ruth” at the
Edmond J. Safra Hall of Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City. Serenata Strings will also be named as the performers on Playbill.

Music Starz Studios DBA Serenata Strings has been accepted to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2024, and and in collaboration with Wieslaw Rentowski and world-renowned soprano Dominika Zamara and pianist Ippazio Ettore Ponzetta, the concert will be broadcasted and live-streamed simultaneously to Europe. With this acceptance, Serenata Strings has garnered global and international recognition and standing in the concert world.

On May 9, 2015, Serenata Strings rehearsed with two vocalists under the age of 18 and although we offered the vocalists two previous MP3 recordings to practice with and a 40-minute rehearsal for FREE at no additional charge, it did not work out as the vocalists were not professionally trained.

Serenata Strings will work with vocalists of the bride’s or groom’s choosing for no additional charge. 
The vocalists have to be semi-professionally/professionally trained and above the age of 18.

Members of Serenata Strings volunteered their talents, time & effort from Nov. 28, 2014 – Jan. 4, 2015 to raise money at Grapevine Mills the Christmas season of 2014.   Serenata Strings raised almost $2,000 of which:
$1,000 was donated to 1000 homeless children in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in collaboration with Captain Hope’s Kids
$500 was donated to Heifer International
$250 was donated to Food For The Poor
$240 for Feeding America
$300 was donated to the 2 million orphans around the world in collaboration with Buckner International Orphan Care.

Members of Serenata Strings volunteered their talents, time & effort from Nov. 29, 2013 – Jan. 5, 2014 to raise money for the victims in the Philippines at Grapevine Mills the Christmas season of 2013.   Serenata Strings raised $8,000 for the victims in the Philippines.

Members of Serenata Strings volunteer their talents and time to raise money for the 1000 homeless children in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in collaboration with Captain Hope’s Kids and the 2 million orphans around the world in collaboration with Buckner International Orphan Care every Christmas season at Grapevine Mills.
On Dec. 23, 2013, $1800 was donated to Captain Hope’s Kids.
On Dec. 23, 2013, $200 was donated to Buckner International Orphan Care.
